The present Terms and Conditions of use for the online store www.giowine.md apply to orders for purchasing products/services offered by Giowine SRL through the website.
To ensure a smooth experience while using the website, we recommend carefully reviewing these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to modify these provisions without prior notice.
- 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
This website is owned by Giowine SRL. By placing an order in the online store, the Buyer accepts the Terms and Conditions for the sale of goods/products and/or service provision, which are based on Moldovan legislation (hereinafter referred to as “Terms and Conditions”).
The use of the website implies acceptance of the Terms and Conditions proposed by Giowine SRL, in accordance with Law No. 284/2004 on Electronic Commerce. The relationship between the client and the seller is governed by Law No. 105/2003 on Consumer Rights Protection and other applicable legal acts.
The Seller reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions, and the Buyer is required to monitor any changes.
- 2. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
By using the website www.giowine.md, you automatically agree to the collection and processing of personal data necessary for order processing/confirmation/execution.
Personal data is processed only for legitimate purposes, such as delivering ordered products, promotions, Google Analytics, cookies, and notifications/newsletters.
All personal data is stored and used only for the necessary period to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, in accordance with Law No. 133/2011 on personal data protection.
We use commercial security measures to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the proper use of information on the website. However, data transmission over the internet or wireless networks cannot be fully protected. Therefore, like other companies, we cannot guarantee the security of the information you provide, and you do so at your own risk.
- 3. ORDER REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT
Orders can be paid by card – upon receiving the order, you will receive a fiscal receipt confirming the payment.
Online payments are made under maximum security conditions using a payment card that allows online transactions. After payment, you will receive a confirmation email.
The payment processor uses a secure system based on the latest version of the 3D-Secure security standard, which means a new global approach to authenticating buyers in secure online transactions. This security measure redirects the user to a secure maib page, where authentication is performed using a one-time password for each online transaction.
Refunds are made only to the payment card used for the purchase.
To make a payment, you must enter your bank card details. The transfer of this information is carried out in compliance with all necessary security measures. The information is encrypted and stored only on a specialized payment system server.
For payment, the following details are required:
- Card number (16 digits)
- Expiration date (month and year)
- CVC or CVV code (3 digits)
- Cardholder’s name
If the card currency differs from the transaction currency (MDL), the conversion conditions of the issuing bank will apply.
- 4. PRODUCTS / GOODS / SERVICES DELIVERY
After placing an order, the buyer will receive information on the estimated delivery date by couriers/delivery service.
Delivery in Cricova is carried out within 1 hour from order confirmation by our operators. Delivery is available from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and is free for orders of at least 400 MDL. For smaller orders, a delivery fee of 50 MDL applies (included in the total transaction/order amount).
Delivery in Chișinău is carried out within 1-2 hours from order confirmation. Delivery is available from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and is free for orders of at least 600 MDL. For smaller orders, a delivery fee of 100 – 150 MDL applies (included in the total transaction/order amount).
No deliveries are made on Sundays or national holidays.
Delivery time may be extended in certain isolated situations (e.g., unfavorable weather conditions, holiday periods, unforeseen technical issues, etc.). We will notify you in advance if we encounter any of these situations.
You can choose any delivery address – home, office, or any other location, without additional charges. We accept only one delivery address per order. If you need to deliver the order to multiple addresses, please place separate orders for each address.
Upon receiving the products, please check the integrity of the packaging and the presence of the receipt in the courier’s presence. Any later claims regarding these aspects will not be accepted.
- 5. RETURN POLICY
According to Law No. 105-XV of March 13, 2013, on Consumer Protection, the Buyer has the right to return purchased goods/products within 14 days from the date of payment for specific reasons. Refunds will be processed to the card used for the purchase.
Some items cannot be exchanged or returned, in accordance with Annex No. 2 of Government Decision No. 1465 of 08.12.2003 (MO248-253/19.12.2003), as amended by Government Decision No. 1188 of 02.11.2007 (MO175/09.11.2007).

- 6. PRIVACY POLICY
In accordance with Law No. 133/2011 on the Protection of Personal Data, the service provider processes personal data in good faith and in compliance with legal provisions. Data processing is carried out through mixed means (automated and manual), ensuring security, confidentiality, and respect for the rights of individuals.
The provider collects and processes only the personal data provided by consumers when placing an order: name, surname, phone number, address, and postal address.
Personal data is used exclusively for site administration, allowing access to specific information, order delivery, or contacting the consumer regarding order fulfillment. By using the site, users and consumers acknowledge that their personal data (name, surname, phone number, address, postal address) will be processed and used.
The service provider processes personal data of users and consumers provided through browsing, use, and registration on www.giowine.md.
Any information provided by users and consumers of www.giowine.md will be considered as explicit consent for the provider to use personal data.
The provider will not disclose any held data to third parties without the consent of the concerned individuals and will not sell, exchange, or share these data, except as required by law (e.g., at the request of state institutions, law enforcement agencies, or courts).
